.Synopsis... An area of low pressure NW of the area will gradually
move NE and E through midweek. A weak front will enter the NW waters
Wednesday and move E across the central waters Thursday, then
dissipate. An area of low pressure is forecast to develop and
approach the SE waters later in the week, then potentially pass near
the southern waters as a tropical cyclone Friday through the weekend.

Hawaiian waters within 40 nautical miles including the channels-

.TODAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY NIGHT...South to Southeast winds 10 to
20 knots. Wind waves 3 to 6 feet. Scattered to numerous showers
and slight chance of thunderstorms.
.THURSDAY...Northeast winds 5 to 15 knots. Wind waves 3 feet.
Northwest swell 3 feet, building to 5 feet in the afternoon
northwest waters. Scattered showers.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...Northeast winds 10 to 20 knots. Wind waves 3 to
5 feet. Northwest swell 5 feet. Scattered showers.

160W. Seas 5 to 7 ft. Scattered thunderstorms.
.TONIGHT...S to SE winds 10 to 20 kt. Seas 6 ft. Chance of
thunderstorms.
.WEDNESDAY AND WEDNESDAY NIGHT...Front enters NW waters. E of
160W, S to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. W of 160W, W to SW winds 10 to 15
kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Slight chance of thunderstorms.
