.SYNOPSIS FOR THE WESTERN GULF OF ALASKA...

A 1000 mb low at 54N 156W dissipates by Tue afternoon. A front
associated with a strengthening North Pacific low moves into the
southern Gulf Tue afternoon and the northern Gulf Tue night
remaining over the Gulf through Thu morning.
