Hawaiian offshore waters beyond 40 nautical miles out to 240
nautical miles including the portion of the Papahanaumokuakea
Marine National Monument east of French Frigate Shoals

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average height
of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be more than
twice the significant wave height.

.Synopsis for the Hawaiian offshore waters...
A slow, west moving kona low NW of the area is producing bands of
heavy rain, isolated thunderstorms and strong gusty winds. The
recent rain bands over the central waters will move W through mid
week and be over the far W waters Wednesday. A high will build NE
of the area re-establishing moderate to fresh mid to late week
trades.
