Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A weak pressure gradient will generally prevail
across the basin today. Surface ridging with maintain Light to
gentle winds through the weekend. Although winds will increase
slightly in the western Gulf, winds should stay relatively gentle
in the eastern Gulf into next week.

.THIS AFTERNOON...W winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
Scattered showers and isolated tstms.
.TONIGHT...W to NW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Isolated
tstms.
.SAT...NE winds less than 5 kt, shifting to SE in the afternoon.

.SAT NIGHT...N to NE winds less than 5 kt, shifting to SE to S

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure extending from the central Atlantic
will create a tight pressure gradient with low pressure off the
SE US coast. This will maintain fresh SW winds across portions of
the Bahamas region through Sat morning. As the low pressure off
the SE US coast moves away well to the north of the area, gentle
to moderate winds will prevail over the area Sat afternoon through
the weekend and into early next week. Enhanced thunderstorms will
continue over portions of Bahamas region through Sat.

.THIS AFTERNOON...SW winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and SW to W
10 to 15 kt N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered showers and
isolated tstms.
.TONIGHT...S to SW winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and SW 10 to 15 kt
N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered showers and isolated
tstms.
.SAT...S of 27N, S to SW winds 10 to 15 kt. N of 27N, W to NW
winds 10 to 15 kt, shifting to SE to S 5 to 10 kt in the
