.Synopsis...A surface ridge just N of the area will move S
through Monday as a powerful surface low develops just NW of the
area. As the low moves W away from the area this week, a
slow-moving and strong high will build to the N of the area.

Hawaiian waters within 40 nautical miles including the channels-

.REST OF TONIGHT...East to southeast winds 10 to 20 knots. Wind
waves 3 to 5 feet. Northeast swell 4 to 6 feet. Isolated
showers.
.MONDAY...Southeast to south winds 10 to 15 knots. Wind waves 3
to 4 feet. Northeast swell 4 to 6 feet. Scattered showers. Slight
chance of thunderstorms Kauai waters.
.MONDAY NIGHT AND TUESDAY...Southeast winds 15 to 25 knots. Wind
waves 4 to 7 feet. Northwest swell 4 to 8 feet, building to 6 to
12 feet Tuesday. Showers likely. Slight chance of thunderstorms
Kauai waters.
.TUESDAY NIGHT THROUGH FRIDAY...East winds 20 to 30 knots. Wind
waves 6 to 12 feet. Northwest swell 6 to 10 feet, diminishing to
3 to 5 feet Thursday and Friday. Scattered showers.
